Meet the Willows Bend Senior Living Team

Katelyn earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and majored in Health Care Administration and Marketing. She is licensed as an Assisted Living Director in the state of Minnesota. 

Prior to joining the Ebenezer team at Willows Bend, Katelyn has served in various leadership positions for the last 4 years in senior care. After graduating, Katelyn worked as an Executive Director in Training and was promoted to an Assistant Executive Director overseeing a 114-unit assisted living community in North St. Paul. From there, she traveled to be an Interim Executive Director in Edina, operating 96-unit assisted living and memory care. In her most recent role, she served as an Executive Director at the Legacy of Farmington, a 70-unit community that offers independent, assisted living, and memory care lifestyle options. 

Katelyn lives in Golden Valley, MN. She enjoys hitting the links in the summer, going for long runs, and being out on the lake. Katelyn loves trying new things and recently took up Salsa dancing lessons! We are excited to meet all our new residents that will truly make Willows Bend the best community!

When I'm not helping residents discover the perfect home sweet home, you can catch me on the soccer field, coaching and mentoring the next generation of athletes. With eight years of experience in the senior living world, I've seen firsthand the positive impact of finding the right place to call home.

Jen is passionate about Geriatric care as she grew up with her grandparents being involved in all aspects of her life. She has been working as a Registered Nurse with Ebenezer for the past 5 years, and fully appreciates and is committed to the quality care seniors deserve. “I truly enjoy the pieces of wisdom, stories, and advice the residents share and value their view about life,” she says. In addition to working full time as our Director of Health Services, Jen is pursuing higher education through a MBA Program at Bethel University to help further her plan of providing quality care to underserved populations. 

Scott is our Culinary Director at Willows Bend Senior Living. He has five years previous experience as a Culinary Director for another Ebenezer-managed senior living community. Prior to that he was an executive chef for Champps Americana. Scott grew up in the beautiful area of Lake Minnetonka and currently lives in Inver Grove Heights with his cat Basco and his dog Eve. In addition to golfing and traveling, Scott's passion is to bring joy to the residents and guests he serves with all the delicious and nutritious food that he and his team creates.
